Heat-resistant castings are a type of casting designed to withstand high-temperature environments. They are made from materials that can withstand thermal stress, which is caused by the expansion and contraction of the material due to temperature changes. Heat-resistant castings are commonly used in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and power generation. They are used in applications such as turbine blades, furnace components, and exhaust manifolds. The materials used to make heat-resistant castings include iron, steel, and nickel-based alloys, which have high melting points and excellent resistance to thermal stress.

Wear resistant castings are designed to withstand the abrasive and erosive effects of wear and tear. They are made from materials that have high hardness, toughness, and resistance to impact and deformation. Wear resistant castings are widely used in industries such as mining, construction, and cement manufacturing, where heavy machinery and equipment are exposed to harsh environments and abrasive materials. They are used in applications such as grinding mills, crushers, and excavator buckets. The materials used to make wear-resistant castings include high chrome white iron, martensitic steel, and austenitic manganese steel, which have excellent wear resistance and high strength.

Corrosion-resistant castings are designed to withstand the corrosive effects of chemical environments. They are made from materials that have high resistance to corrosion, such as stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, and titanium. Corrosion-resistant castings are widely used in industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, and marine engineering, where equipment and components are exposed to harsh chemical environments. They are used in applications such as pumps, valves, and heat exchangers. The materials used to make corrosion-resistant castings have excellent resistance to corrosion, high strength, and good weldability, making them ideal for use in aggressive chemical environments.
